Time Travelers help with a variety of opportunities at The Durham. From helping with our education activities to assisting with our special touring exhibitions. What We Do
Choose your Time Traveler specialty or become a master of all!
- What is it Wednesday: educate guests about a special surprise object from our collection
-Train Car Host: transport guests back to the era of train travel and share the story of our train cars
-Docents: lead educational programming for our sponsored field trips during the school year
-Education Ambassadors: fearless field trip leaders that navigate students through the timeline of Docent presentations
-Gallery Guides: brave storytellers that enjoy learning about our traveling exhibits and guiding guests through each new show
-Great Hall Artifacts: educating guests about our unique collection pieces from Union Station's train days
-Platform Patrol: engaging with families and kids in a special activity on our train platform
